Miniature Zinc Die Casting
Miniature Zinc Die Casting Explained
Miniature zinc die casting is the process of manufacturing small, precision components in the most economical way. This process lends itself best to complex three dimensional components that can be produced in high numbers. Tight tolerences, up to +/-.0005" can be achieved in certain situations, depending on the component design. Parts can be trimmed and assembled in the die cast machine, saving production time and money. Internal and extrenal treads can be cast in the process. Additionally, our InterCast process can be utilized to produce moving parts in the component... all in one step!
Miniature zinc die casting components can be used in a large number of different markets, ranging from hi-tech electrical applications, such as connectors and RF shields, to attractive and functional consumer items such as picture hooks.
